ASGCO Flo-Control Chutes
 ASGCO Flo-Control™, is a revolutionary way to handle granular and particulate material handling problems and to increase production capabilities. Combined with our conveyor and material handling knowledge, engineering capabilities and complete turn-key installation services, we are able to make problems a thing of the past.

 

Challenge: Dramatically increase performance and decrease downtime at various transfer points for a major mining operation.   Take current drawings of existing transfer and render them accurately in 3-D CAD. Run flow simulation.
 
Identify by computer analysis (3-DEM) the best chute geometry for enhanced production. Develop "hood" and "spoon" configuration.   Fabrication and manufacture of the new transfer point including hoods, spoons, liners and other conveyor components.

 

ASGCO crews install the Flo-Control Hood, which can be adjusted vertically and horizontally.   2" thick ceramic panels on 1/4" steel backing are showing no build or wear and can be easily replaced.

  Optimize belt cleaner design to match the performance needed to reduce carry-back
