Territory Manager – Mountain States

Responsibilities:
Candidate will be responsible for managing and increasing sales and market share, assisting and building distributor network and major mining and coal-fired power plant users in the Mountain States territory (Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and Southern Montana). The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy bulk material handling industries like mining or power, but a background in industrial equipment at any level is a plus.

Qualifications Include:

  • Over three years of practical industrial sales or technical sales experience, preferably in conveyor systems or material handling component sales
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and leadership abilities
  • Willingness to learn and work hard
  • Travel 50%
  • Knowledge of the Mining and Power Plant customer base
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Over three years of practical industrial sales or technical sales experience, preferably in conveyor systems or material handling component sales

Appalachian Territory Manager

ASGCO’s Manufactured Products Division produces a proprietary line of belt conveyor components that enhance conveyor productivity. We are focused on providing solutions for spillage and dust control in load zone transfer points and optimizing overall conveyor performance. Primary target industries include coal mining, coal-fired power generation and hard rock mining. 

Responsibilities:
Candidate will be responsible for managing and increasing sales and market share, working with our existing distributor network and major end-users in West Virginia, Western Virginia, North Carolina, Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio and Eastern Kentucky.
The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy process industries like mining or power, but a background in industrial equipment at any level is a plus.  This individual will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and will have familiarity with Microsoft Office products.  A college degree is preferred but not required. Underground mining experience a plus.

Qualifications Include:

  • Two-three years of practical industrial sales or technical sales experience, preferably in conveyor systems or material handling component sales
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and leadership abilities
  • Familiar with hard rock or coal mining
  • Willingness to learn and work hard
  • Travel 50%
  • Knowledge of the customer base
  • Maintain and build relationships with established distributor network

Service - Maintenance Foreman / Supervisor - Baltimore Branch

We are also distributors for the largest conveyor belt manufacturer in the world and offer extensive lines of the best names in bulk material handling industry. Our products are sold through our 3 branch locations in Pennsylvania, New York and Maryland. Primary target industries include coal and biomass power plants, steel manufacturing, aggregate, cement, food processing and other conveyor bulk material handling industries.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage and increase sales for the seven current outside-salesman located in 3 different branch locations
  • Manage and lead the operations, inventory and customer service/inside salesman department for the 3 different mid-Atlantic branch locations

Qualifications Include:

  • At least five-years of practical industrial sales or industrial services sales experience

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and leadership abilities
