ASGCO has a Logistics Manager position open at our corporate location in Nazareth, Pennsylvania for someone with a great positive attitude and excels at working/managing in Shipping and Receiving that helps drive the business. Job Responsibilities:
- Manage employees in the day to day operations of the shipping and receiving department.
- Prepare international shipping documents for export orders.
- Submit RFP’s to vendors and logistics partners to secure the best competitive rate for trucks and shipping materials.
- Prioritize outgoing orders and prepare shipments for transport.
- Participate in multi-department safety committee providing ideas and solutions for company safety.
- Communicate with production managers to prioritize work in production to meet shipping schedules for customers.
