Candidate will be responsible for managing and increasing sales and market share, assisting and building Australian Distributor Network and major mining and bulk material handling customers in Australia.  

Qualifications Include:

The ideal candidate will have experience with mining and heavy bulk material handling industries; coal mining, coal shipping terminals, coal-fired power plants, iron ore and gold mining, other hard rock mining, but a background in industrial equipment at any level is a plus.

Mechanical Designer

Company / Position Information:

ASGCO Manufacturing, Inc., a world-class manufacturer of bulk material handling conveyor components, conveyor design, installation and maintenance company has a great opportunity for experienced Mechanical Designer with a great attitude, leadership abilities and willingness to learn. ASGCO’s manufacturers a proprietary line of belt conveyor components and provide conveyor transfer point design projects that enhance conveyor productivity. We are focused on providing solutions for spillage and dust control in load zone transfer points and optimizing overall conveyor performance. Primary target industries include cement, power, coal, aggregate, copper, gold, potash and other hard rock mining.

Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical component design of existing and new products
  • Product development from inception through fabrication.
  • Provide technical support to A/E and OEM customers and distributors
  • Estimating, Design, Fabrication and Installation of new conveyor transfer points using our 3-DEM transfer point software

Qualifications Include:

  • Associates degree in engineering discipline or equivalent experience
  • Practical industrial engineering, plant maintenance or technical sales experience,     preferably on bulk material handlings
  • Experienced in AutoCAD, 3-D Inventor (preferred) or SolidWorks
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and leadership abilities
  • Should be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Travel 10%

Service Technician / Team Member

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Service Technician / Team Member to install, service and repair conveyor components and who has experience on Industrial jobsites, including: Coal Mines, Power Plants, Steel Plants, Quarries and or other types of Industrial / Manufacturing plants.

Qualifications Include:

Must be familiar with millwright type jobs including steel fabrication, welding, proper rigging techniques and any conveyor experience is a plus. Black hat preferred.
