Field Service Planner/ Inside Sales – Nazareth, PA

Location: Nazareth, PA

ASGCO has a Field Service Planner/ Inside Sales opening for a candidate that will be responsible for estimating job costs and assisting the service manager with coordinating labor and equipment. This applicant must be able to maintain high quality work and a high level of attention to detail while ensuring service employees’ productivity and safe operation of the department.  The right candidate must be able to properly time manage clients’ requests and take ownership of the administrative duties of the service department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience in a relative industry required
  • 2+ years of scheduling experience required
  • 2+ years of management experience in a relative industry preferred

SIGN-ON- BONUS 

Responsibilities: 

  • Design and create website improvements for website search optimization and mobile appearance and search functions 
  • Improve organic keyword searches and overall product information 
  • Oversee and improve our e-commerce site, customer pricing, and information portal 
  • Manage online avenues of production, including website, social media pages and e-commerce sites 
  • Coordinate with the marketing team on all projects in reference to company website improvements, company and product video’s, and other market activities 
  • Ability to take and edit videos, pictures and information to make short product and training videos 
  • Ability to write new product press releases and technical articles 
  • Support the sales team with up-to-date marketing and promotional materials 
  • Write press releases and work with Territory Managers to create monthly newsletters utilizing case studies 
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM and the e-blast components for sending e-blasts through our databases

  • Assist all departments and divisions with marketing support materials 

Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of previous experience with, e-marketing, website, e-commerce, video production, graphics and other relevant marketing experience 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills as sell as people skills 
  • Knowledge of WordPress, graphics, printing programs, video editing, as well as Print Media operations 
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel), Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Adobe Acrobat and InDesign 
  • Ability to multi task in fast-paced dynamic environment

  • Concentrate and increase market share, and sales for national accounts for hard rock mining, copper and gold mining, aggregates and cement, soda ash (trona) mines, coal and coal fired power plants, mineral mining, food processing facilities and other major bulk material handling operations.
  • Look to improve our current products and look for new products for us to promote and improve upon.
  • Assist with marketing (trade shows, literature, website, and advertisements) and manufacturing departments.
  • Assist with calling current and new OEM’s and AE firms.
  • Maintain an excellent safety record.
  • Turn in weekly schedules, call reports and expense reports on a timely basis.

  • 3+ years of industrial outside sales or account executive experience required
  • Good customer service and communication skills.

Location: Beckley, WV

ASGCO® is looking for Vulcanizer to install, service and repair conveyor belts and components and who has experience on Industrial jobsites, including: Aggregate, Asphalt, Ready-mix, Quarries and or other types of Industrial / Manufacturing plants.  We provide in-house training programs for advancement.  Any construction or millwright type jobs including steel fabrication, welding, millwright, conveyor belt splicing, vulcanizing, proper rigging techniques and any conveyor experience is a plus.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Install new conveyor belt
  • Change out existing conveyor belt

  • Knowledge of pulley lagging; changing of pulleys
  • Maintenance or changing of mechanical systems that transfer conveyor belt

  • 2+ years of mining experience, preferred
  • Familiarity with all hot vulcanized splicing techniques and previous pulley lagging experience required
  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred
  • Reliable transportation

Millwright / Mobile Field Maintenance – Multiple Locations

Location: Nazareth, PA; Pittsburgh, PA

We are seeking to add an experienced Millwright to join our teams. The most qualified candidates would be ones with experience doing basic welding and cutting, setting bearings, general maintenance, alignment of pulleys and more. This will involve work in the branch workshop and a significant proportion of time out at customer sites.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Installing and repairing industrial machinery and equipment and competent with operating basic hand and power tools.
  • Laser alignment of pulleys, drives and gearboxes.
  • Able to do basic welding/cutting including stick, wire, plasma, gouging.
  • Setting bearings on the conveyor system.
  • General maintenance on different types of warehouse equipment.
  • Use cranes, fork trucks, hoist pulleys, and rollers to complete the job properly and effectively.
  • Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery.
  • 50% travel in company vehicles

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Millwright experience
  • Must have a valid unrestricted driver’s license
  • Comfortable working outdoors, at heights, underground or in confined areas
  • Must be willing to receive MSHA training
  • Comply with federal regulations on mandatory drug testing
  • Mechanically inclined to read work orders, use tools and equipment
  • Basic rigging, lifting and slinging
  • Technical training in related technical field is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety issues
  • Able to lift and load equipment into vehicle and unload at repair sites
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Mechanical skills are helpful

Financial Programs – 401K Plan

ASGCO’s professionally managed 401K plan allows an employee to set aside up to 25 percent of his/her pre-tax income as savings for retirement. The plan offers a number of investment choices for these savings, from fixed rate of return investments to more speculative growth funds. ASGCO® matches up to 100% of the first 5% the employee contributes.

Health Insurance

ASGCO® offers a comprehensive group health insurance plan which includes medical, dental and vision coverage, along with a prescription program. Our plan covers most medically necessary procedures, ASGCO® pays 50 percent in-network and preventative dental and vision at 100 percent. The employee co-payments and deductibles are very reasonable and competitive. An employee is eligible for the group health insurance after 90 days of employment.

Life Insurance

ASGCO® provides company sponsored life insurance for all employees. The amount of coverage is based on the employee’s annual salary. Employees may voluntarily purchase additional term life insurance.

Short Term / Long Term Disability

ASGCO® provided company sponsored short term disability insurance for all employees. The amount of coverage is 60 percent of your pay on your 8th day on until your return to work duty.

Service Awards

ASGCO® considers that it is important to acknowledge and reward it’s long serving employees. Therefore, those employees who have completed 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of service with ASGCO®, with no break in service, will be entitled to receive a gift card as an award in recognition of their commitment and loyalty to the organization. This service award is applicable to all employees regardless of role employment status.

Company Parties
