Location: Nazareth, PA

Work at the corporate office, the Safety Manager monitors and implements all safety procedures and policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing and updating MSDS program.
  • Enforcing, amending and monitoring Safety Manual.
  • Purchasing all Personal Protective Equipment.
  • OSHA annual renewal training and maintenance of files.
  • MSHA annual renewal training and maintenance of files.
  • Onsite safety monitoring. For high-risk jobs.
  • Contractor pre-qualification packets.
  • Maintaining on-line certifications and contractor – customer information.
  • Reviewing contracts for safety issues.
  • Informing all Service personnel of job specific requirements.
  • On-site visits and on-site safety audits are a must on a weekly basis
  • Leading Safety Committee.
  • Reporting and investigating of all WC claims.
  • Maintaining relationship with medical providers.
  • Reviewing Loss Analysis.
  • Maintaining OSHA forms for all locations.

Qualification:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in safety related field.
  • Knowledge of all current OSHA and MSHA requirements.
  • Ability to implement and monitor safety issues.
  • Able to work with wide range of personnel/positions.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work unsupervised.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fasted paced environment.
  • Risk Management degree or equivalent.

Location: West Valley City, UT (SLC)

Qualifications:

  • Increase sales and market share for all of ASGCO Manufactured Products Division sales through our existing and new distribution channels as well as OEM’s in the territory.
  • Manage, build and train our distribution networks, by making joint sales calls and provide help on installation with your distributor salesmen and distributor install teams.
  • Call on target end-users to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction, service and sales are being achieved.
  • The territory will include the states of: Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, Colorado, Idaho and Montana.  Targets include Rio Tinto, Barrick Gold, Tata Chemicals, Solvay, Genesis, Ash Grove Cement, Arch Coal, Peabody Coal, CRH, Martin Marietta and Kinross (Round Mountain Gold).
  • Perform sales meeting and presentations for current and new distributors and OEMS’s.
  • Perform conveyor inspections / surveys / audits and maintenance training at end-user customer plant locations.
  • Assist with customer installations of our products to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Concentrate and increase market share, and sales for national accounts for hard rock mining, copper and gold mining, aggregates and cement, soda ash (trona) mines, coal and coal fired power plants, mineral mining, food processing facilities and other major bulk material handling operations.
  • Look to improve our current products and look for new products for us to promote and improve upon.
  • Assist with marketing (trade shows, literature, website, and advertisements) and manufacturing departments.
  • Assist with calling current and new OEM’s and AE firms.
  • Maintain an excellent safety record.
  • Turn in weekly schedules, call reports and expense reports on a timely basis.

We are looking for a Field Service Manager / Sales Technician with a great attitude, leadership abilities and willingness to learn.  Job responsibilities will be to install, service, repair and assist with sales of ASGCO conveyor equipment and services to our distributors, OEM’s and end-user customers.  We provide in-house conveyor training and other technical training programs for advancement.  The Gulf States Territory consists of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Arkansas.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform product installations and maintenance of ASGCO Manufactured Products throughout the Gulf States.
  • Ensure all service jobs and projects are performed safely, on-time and with the highest level of quality workmanship.
  • Assist ASGCO Territory Managers and distributor salesman with Conveyor Inspections, Training and Sales as needed in their respected territories.
  • Assist with increasing sales and market share for all ASGCO’s products and services by helping to provide solutions to our customers.
  • Manage and maintain accurate branch inventory and shipments.
  • Be a SAFE and motivated Leader and TEAM player.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, leadership abilities and a Safe positive attitude.

Qualifications:

  • Basic welding and fabricating skills.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.

At ASGCO we provide customers with products that require various finishing processes to meet various applications.   The Finishing Associate will be responsible for ensuring all products meet those required finishes and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Must be versed in the following areas, Sand Blasting, Powder Coating, Metalizing Spray coating, Painting using Polyurethane, Epoxy and Primers.

  • Must be able to follow Written and verbal instruction
  • Must wear appropriate safety and protective equipment

  • Have a working knowledge of hand power tools such as drills, saws, grinders, sanders etc.
  • Must have 2 yrs. experience painting / sandblasting in a fabrication environment.

Facilities Maintenance Associate – Service Department

Location: Nazareth, PA

Ensure service crew is ready and available for specific job sites, by maintaining the equipment, supplies.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform, install, repair and maintain all machinery and equipment.
  • Pneumatics, and Hydraulics installations, repairs and troubleshooting equipment.
  • Fleet vehicles, maintain records and ensure all documentation is current, as well as ensure all vehicles are serviced according to manufactures recommendations.
  • Facilities – Ensure all records are maintained.
  • Maintain work orders database, order supplies and equipment. Also find cost savings and implement.
  • Complete knowledge of Vul-Con control box set up and programming of such.
  • Performs required maintenance on all one piece and sectional presses at ASGCO.
  • Support Marketing with respect to creating Vul-Con instruction manual.
  • Work with MFG. Products to support as far as parts, tools and equipment maintenance when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Must have working knowledge in Schematics reading.
  • Have electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic experience.
  • Be able and certified to drive a fork lift.
  • Strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills.
  • Required to maintain a valid driver’s license and DOT card.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced dynamic environment.
  • Have the ability to lift 50lbs to 100lbs, bending, kneeling, reaching and standing for long periods of time.

  • Report to management if there is to be maintenance on any machinery in department.
  • Required to do other projects as requested by Management due to business necessity.

  • Be able and certified to drive a forklift.

  • Ability to multi task in fast paced dynamic environment.
  • Have the ability to lift 50lbs to 100obs., bending, kneeling, reaching and stranding for long periods of time.

Working Conditions:

  • Schedule is Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm.
  • Frequently exposed to regulated noise, cold working conditions also exposed to smells that are within the guideline.
  • May be required to work overtime on as needed bases.

The Band Saw Operator is primarily responsible for the precision cutting of metal material in a timely manner. This position must maintain high quality work, high level of attention to detail while ensuring personal productivity and safe operation of the machinery.  The right candidate must be able to take ownership of the area, keep it organized neat and clean.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and interprets written work instructions.
  • Must be able to accurately read measuring devices to ensure accuracy of cut orders.
  • Operates band saws and other fabrication shop machinery as required.
  • Ability to utilize fabrication equipment such as: belt sander, drill press, bench grinder, hand tools, measuring tools…etc.
  • Effectively prioritize workloads and use of available resources within time constraints.
  • Assists with keeping the shop in an orderly and clean state, following all company safety procedures.
  • Must be able to move steel materials utilizing physical strength forklifts, slings and straps.
  • Responsible for quality control of all jobs and orders
  • Experience and/or previous training in operating a bandsaw is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule forms such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, quality manuals and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to perform simple shop math, convert decimals to fractional equivalents.
  • Thorough knowledge of various types of metals, their physical properties and how to work with them.
  • Candidates must pass a background check, drug screen and other job requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

The job of Metal Fabricator / Welder is done for the purpose/s of meeting demands and completing work orders in a timely manner; installing, repairing, and fabricating materials out of metal; ensuring availability and functioning of required items; and ensuring safety and resolving immediate safety concerns.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains welds on various items using a variety of processes (manual arc, tungsten inert gas, metallic inert gas, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the availability and functioning of required items ensuring safety.
  • Repairs metal surfaces for the purpose of ensuring the safe and efficient use of items.
  • Installs various items for the purpose of completing projects safely and within established time frames.
  • Maintains shop, equipment, tools, vehicle, etc. for the purpose of ensuring the availability and functioning of required items and ensuring safety
  • Coordinates with administration and other trades for the purpose of completing projects/work orders efficiently.
  • Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring the availability of required items.
  • Assists other trades personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.
  • Transports various items (e.g. tools, equipment, supplies, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at job site.
  • Work well with limited supervision.
  • Responds to emergency situations as needed and/or assigned for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years’ experience with Welding /fabrication including one year of journey-level.
  • Have knowledge and skills to perform the job using band saws, grinders, break, shear, drill press, chop saw, part painting
  • Have knowledge in basic math or geometry
  • Read a variety of manuals, and following prescribed formats with the ability to inform to others and solve practical problems.
  • Be able to maintain accurate records
  • Strong attention to detail and good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Have the ability to lift 50lbs to 100lbs., bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for long periods of time, significant fine finger dexterity.

This is a relationship-based sales role. We offer a base salary, plus a competitive commission program.  All earnings are uncapped – your income is limited only by your ability to network and prospect for new customers and to grow your existing accounts. Qualifications:

Financial Programs – 401K Plan

ASGCO’s professionally managed 401K plan allows an employee to set aside up to 25 percent of his/her pre-tax income as savings for retirement. The plan offers a number of investment choices for these savings, from fixed rate of return investments to more speculative growth funds. ASGCO® matches up to 50% of the first 6% the employee contributes.

Health Insurance

ASGCO® offers a comprehensive group health insurance plan which includes medical, dental and vision coverage, along with a prescription program. Our plan covers most medically necessary procedures, ASGCO® pays 50 percent in-network and preventative dental and vision at 100 percent. The employee co-payments and deductibles are very reasonable and competitive. An employee is eligible for the group health insurance after 90 days of employment.

Life Insurance

ASGCO® provides company sponsored life insurance for all employees. The amount of coverage is based on the employee’s annual salary. Employees may voluntarily purchase additional term life insurance.

Short Term / Long Term Disability

ASGCO® provided company sponsored short term disability insurance for all employees. The amount of coverage is 60 percent of your pay on your 8th day on until your return to work duty.

Service Awards

ASGCO® considers that it is important to acknowledge and reward it’s long serving employees. Therefore, those employees who have completed 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of service with ASGCO®, with no break in service, will be entitled to receive a gift card as an award in recognition of their commitment and loyalty to the organization.
