ASGCO engineers, manufactures and distributes a wide array of conveyor and screening components, all specifically designed for the above-ground and underground mining, aggregate, cement, recycling, bulk shipping terminals, pulp and paper, food processing and other bulk material handling industries. We focus on providing exceptional products and service to our customers with the best solutions to their conveyor and screening material handling applications.

Responsibilities include but limited to:

  • Experience in all aspects of metalworking and fabrication, practical welding.
  • Using AutoCAD Inventor, produce drawings for internal and external projects, design fixtures and tools as required.
  • Must possess computer skills Microsoft Office, Sales Force and Job Boss
  • Familiar with welding in MIG and TIG processes in various steel and stainless applications
  • Practical knowledge of CNC and manual machining on lathes and milling machines
  • Produce estimates for internal and external customers using Job Boss software.
  • Coordinate materials and services required for projects.
  • Engineering liaison for Steel Fabrication, work with ASGCO Engineering to update documents and drawings for fabrication.
  • Conduct monthly inventory audits, adjust and track material usage as needed.
  • Develop and monitor processes in manufacturing by implementing standard work instructions for production operations.
  • Experience in Fanuc Robotics programming and welding.
  • Experience in LASER Cutting and nesting.
  • Possess interpersonal skills in dealing with internal and external customers as well as shop floor personnel.

Working Conditions:

  • Working in a Fabrication shop environment produces noises, odors and smoke which vary from project to project.
  • May be required to work overtime on an as-needed basis.
  • Sit, standing and helping with final assembly of projects.
