ASGCO has a General Shop Technician opening for a candidate with a great positive attitude who excels at working in a team environment which helps drive the business. Responsibilities:
- Make daily deliveries to our main location, suppliers and customers.
- Maintain vehicle Preventative Maintenance. Check fluids and keep clean.
- Keep the inventory of pallets organized and notify management of shortages.
- When not making deliveries the candidate will operate metal working machines, band saws, and blasting and load CNC machines.
- Sandblasting
- Powder Coating (painting skills a plus)
- Load and operate machines as required
Requirements:
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Adhere to a full background check
- Must be able to read a tape measure, calipers, and work from basic drawings or cutting lists.
- Have knowledge of basic math.
- Fabrication background preferred.
- Driving – making deliveries between ASGCO facilities, customers and suppliers in company vehicles
Working Conditions:
- Frequently exposed to regulated noise, cold working conditions also exposed to smells that are within the guidelines.
- May be required to work overtime on as needed bases.
