CLAMP-MOUNT MDX™ (MINE DUTY) CONVEYOR SKIRTBOARD SEALING SYSTEM

  • Versatile – Can be used with any of ASGCO skirtboard sealing compounds.
  • Keeper & Nut Feature – The keeper and nut features a 1” Acme thread which can be adjusted by using a hammer or a wrench.
  • Will Automatically Adjust – To any thickness from ¼” to 1¼”.

STOPS SPILLAGE AND DUST

ASGCO®’s skirting system is designed for ease of installation, adjustment and flexibility in skirting choices. By utilising a clamp mount (attached to the outside of the conveyor skirt board), the skirting system holds the skirting material in place, contacting the belt to form a seal.

Keeper & Nut Features – a 1” Acme thread which can be adjusted with either a hammer or a wrench.

Automatically – adjusts to any thickness from 1/4” to 1 1/4”.

Heavy Duty Clamp System – fabricated from 3/8” thick steel for aggressive mining.

 

The Low Boy™ MDX Is Designed for It.

The Low Boy™ Low Profile Clamp-Mount™ MDX from ASGCO® is engineered specifically for conveyor applications where space limitations prevent the use of a standard MDX clamp-mount system. Its compact, low-profile design provides an effective sealing solution in areas with restricted clearances, low skirtboard walls, structural obstructions, or tight conveyor configurations.

Designed to fit where traditional systems cannot, the Low Boy™ MDX helps maintain proper sealing performance while reducing material spillage, dust, and maintenance concerns in challenging applications.

  • Designed for low ceiling areas and tight skirtboard clearances where standard MDX clamps may not fit.
  • Perfect for custom skirtboard walls less than 12 inches high.
  • Helps avoid interference with existing structural steel members, supports, or chutes.
  • Ideal for small belt widths with high trough angles where larger clamp systems may contact the belt or structure.
